Meet Jane – Dancer, Personal Trainer and the Light Entrepeneur of the Week!

Who are you?

My name is Jane Suvanto and I’m a 24-year-old dancer/dance teacher and Personal Trainer. My characteristic is an energetic "early bird" with a positive look on life.

What do you do for a living?

I have been teaching show and hiphop dance classes for children for a few years now. I have also recently began my own "Body Awakening" and Deep Streching morning classes in Leppävaara, Espoo. As a personal trainer I work with clients according to their goals.

One of my interests, is also creating delicious and healthy food recipes and ispire others to make helthier choices. I have my own blog, through which I share these inspiring recipes.

How did you end up light entrepreneuer?

I became a light entrepeneur because I wanted to work independently and in a versatile way. As I’m doing dance and personal training, I can easily adapt my schedule and take into account clients wishes and needs.

I began to use UKKO.fi because while doing both, dance teaching and personal training, it is good to have everything organized in one place. Being a light entrepeneur is a perfect choice for my current everyday life, as I’m always moving around.

How does your typical work day look like?

I love early mornings, so usually I take advantage of that and do a little training before my classes. I’m very active and enjoy being outdoors, so I can have my laptop with me to get some work done before having a client, dance class or my own dance training. In summe time my schedule is more flexible.

I did a dance training trip to Los Angeles in summer 2015. That sunny atmosphere thought me to get up early and have that energy first thing in the morning. That’s why I’d love to have a group of eager people to train with in the morning – could that be you?

What is the best part of your job?

The best part is to see development in young dancers and personal trainer clients, as well as share good moments and achieved goals with them.

I see light entrepeneurship as a chance to develop myself further and learn new things every day. Networking is something that is more than useful and creating good relationships within the same and different areas of work is important and, more importantly, fun. Everything is well-organized through UKKO.fi.

How do you want to improve yourself?

I recently started with UKKO.fi and feel it offers you a great educational material about being a light entrepeneur. That’s very useful and gives you material to begin with. As a dancer and a teacher, there is always things you can learn and people who you can learn from. My interest lies also in nutrition and yoga teacher-training.

Any tips or greetings for other light entrepreneuers?
